The interpretation layer, not the decision engine

The AI explains. It never invents.

AI is what makes a tool like this possible, and it gets better every year. InvestEd points it at the thing it’s genuinely good at: understanding what you mean, and explaining what the numbers say. The numbers themselves come from somewhere the AI can’t touch.

Built the other way around

Most tools put the AI in charge of the answer. We don't.

In most products the AI is the brain: it generates the insights and the projections. InvestEd is built the opposite way.

A deterministic engine runs first. It applies standard financial math to what you tell it: compound growth, loan amortization, debt-versus-invest trade-offs, break-even timing. That math runs completely and reproducibly before the AI is involved at all.

The AI comes in afterward. Its job is to read what the engine produced and put it in plain language, and to help you move from where you are toward what you’re trying to do.

Declare, simulate, navigate

Declare, simulate, navigate

Declare

You enter what describes your situation: what you’ve saved, what you put aside each month, your return assumptions, your loans, your horizon. No financial history, no bank login, and you don’t need to give your name.

Simulate

The engine computes the plan month by month and the variations around it. The same inputs always produce the same outputs. Fully reproducible, every figure traceable.

Navigate

Eva, the assistant, explains what the results mean, points out the moves that close the gap to your goal, and surfaces the trade-offs sitting inside the numbers.

What Eva does not do

What Eva does not do

Compute your outcome. The engine does that.

Invent, round or change a number.

Recommend specific products, funds or accounts.

Predict markets or promise returns.

Reach into your financial history or bank data. You never link an account.

Choose for you, or change your plan on its own.

How the numbers stay honest

There's no black box between your inputs and the explanation

Every statement Eva makes maps to a number the engine actually computed. Numbers in the chat have to trace back to engine values. If a sentence in a reply contains a figure that can’t be traced, it gets dropped before it reaches you. And when too much is unknown to be confident, InvestEd says confidence is low rather than dressing up a guess.

See the math, then the plain-language read.

Run a real scenario. The engine computes it, Eva explains it.
